15+ Pictures Capturing the Art of Coincidence by Ishay Lindenberg

Photography is the tool that immortalizes moments forever. We have learned about moments and history as if we were there to witness everything just from a picture. Nowadays there’s an on-growing trend where artists capture random moments to highlight the beauty of the surrounding environment that we see every day but don’t really notice it. One of these photographers is Ishay ‘Jesse’ Lindenberg who grew up with a camera in his hands.

Since he was little, he used to see his father developing films of their trips in the darkroom. Lindenberg always wanted to be there and learn the process. It was that part of his life that shaped him as a person where he continued to pursue his career as an artist.  Now he captures pictures of random moments and the results are amazing.

“I studied in the faculty of arts in 2006  but mostly in artistic photography and digital arts. This particular project “The art of coincidence” started at 2014, said the artist when reached out by Earthwonders.

Everyday we are surrounded by coincidences, and the artist tries to immortalize as many of them as he can notice. Scroll down below to see his sharp eye capturing our everyday lives and transforming them into movie scenes.

Times Historians Had No Idea What Something Was And Women Stepped In And Told Them

In class, I learned that when I don’t understand something, someone else probably does. It’s more useful to learn someone’s perspective in a field than to force your perspective and fail miserably.

That’s the moral lesson to be learned in this viral Twitter thread by Gennifer Hutchison. For her, there are things that male historians and anthropologists get wrong because they usually don’t involve women’s perspectives in their research.
