The quarantine has differently changed the way we perceive things. While we sheltered inside of our homes to stop spreading the virus we created a quarantine culture. And unexpectedly everyone was a part of it. The isolation wasn’t that simple anymore. Suddenly we became more creative and more eager to live our lives. Well this is also what happened to the owner of three Elderly Rescued Pugs. During quarantine, she decided to build her rescue doggies a mini wooden stairlift that she called the Doggie-vator.
Sonya Karimi who lives in New Orleans came up with this genius idea on how she could help her elderly dogs climb the stairs easier. But how did she came up with this amazing idea?! Well, Sonia works as an occupational therapist. She said that at her work they usually use stairlifts for people that can’t climb the stairs properly Because there isn’t something similar for the pets to use also. So she thought that she might be able to create something by herself for her dogs to use. So she did! And from all of this came out something not only useful but people are finding It adorable too.
Being this caring and making life easier for these rescued dogs is the most delightful thing in the world. I invite you to watch the photos and videos below in case you want to make your day brighter and happier today.

“They’ve adapted to it so quickly, I thought I’d have to train them for a while to get used to it but they just get on it as if they’ve had it for years! The two older pugs love it especially – they won’t use the stairs, they will sit there and wait until the ride is ready for them and it’s so cute,” told the owner for the press.
