Since the pandemic started a lot of artists have done their share trying to enlighten up the situation through their art. A lot of comics, illustrations, cartoons, videos and so much more mediums of art used to help people to talk about what they’re going through during these times.
Now more than a year since this pandemic started, and we’re still dealing with it battling with new measurements every day, quarantine life, pandemic news all over the media, the circle of the infected people around us getting smaller and smaller every day. This sounds horrible, but what are we tell you that we have something that will help you see this situation from a more positive perspective.
Chow Hon Lam is the artist behind the Buddy Gator comic series which started on the 22nd of June 2020. The reason Chow choose an alligator as the main character just to show the public not to judge a book by its covers. An alligator can be a good friend as well. We’ve seen some of the Buddy Gator comics earlier, but now Chow has brought a new set of comics for us.
Earthwonders reached out to Chow to ask him more about the amazing work he does. “The inspiration for my comics comes from my daily life, stories from people around me, news we see on the internet, a post that my friends and family share on social media, and most of the time, it is from TV shows and movies, I like movies a lot,” explained the artist for us.
Below we’ve made a selection of some of the most heartwarming comics that he creates. After a scroll down, make sure to share them with your family and friends to lighten up their day as well.
