Nick Filippou is an artist who does comics relating the life of him with his cat, Minnie, and their everyday interaction. His comics are quite simple, and the whole point is to show how great his life with his cat is. For people who already own a cat, you know the pleasure they bring as soon as they move in with you.
Earthwonders reached out to Nick to ask him more about his adorable cat. “Minnie is a rescue kitty and I’ve had her about 5 years now. She has a clipped ear because she was a former stray that was a part of a TNR program (trap neuter and release). The comics reflect the little ear clip,” explained Nick.
The comics are called “I iz cat”. From classics like a cat in a box, and their undying hunting instincts, to Minnie’s psychedelic escapades on catnip, and other things, the comic covers just about everything in the spectrum of feline life with its beloved owners.
“Minnie has been the most loving, chatty, sweet companion I’ve ever had. She’s also incredibly sassy and really cracks us up. She has a sister @danytheboxer and they get along very well,” said the artist for Earthwonders, “I remember when I first adopted Minnie, the shelter owner said that Minnie would give anything to have a loving home. It’s been 5 years of bliss ever since.”
The first time Minnie was featured in a comic was in a Christmas book a few years ago, which was republished last year.
