We have seen many bold creators that have treat issues in a thought-provoking way. The hottest issues that surround us they have put in the paper. Conveying the message in an illustrative way was always not only entertaining but also an efficient way to get to people.
The artist who uses this method for his art is Sergio Ingravalle. After his trip from Beijing where he met a lot of artists, he was deeply inspired to start something new for himself. Sort of developing his style in a bold and fast way. Thus, he started `series of illustrations called “Mindshots” inspired by his daily life. He said that the title was born from the ideas that often pop out while working, talking, watching a movie, hanging out with friends, or while being bored in the doctor’s waiting room. Some are socially critical, while others are just plain ridiculous.
We can clearly see how inspired is Sergio in social issues he also stated the first drawing of this kind was a bird wearing a mask. Now the artist depicts other issues like our obsession with social media, the indication of capitalism, and free labor in our life. Or just overall how attached we are to modern technology especially our mobile phones. After his success on his Instagram account, he decided to publish a book with his 50 best “Mindshots” illustrations.
