SappyDayz Series Created as a Fruit of the Pandemic Presents The Most Audacious Comics For The Public

Sappy Sap Sap is the name this hilarious comedian/comic illustrator goes by. He started creating comics because of the idleness caused by the pandemic, and we surely love the results. Earthwonders reached out to him to ask more about how his SappyDayz webcomic, and how everything started.

SappyDayz was born out of the idleness caused by the pandemic. With nowhere to perform as a comedian, I wanted to continue writing jokes and decided I would create some cartoons to get me through the days. I have no formal training as an artist so it was rough going at first as my cartoons looked more like doodles you’d see on the bathroom stall, but with commitment, my style continued to evolve and will for years to come I’m sure,” explained the artist.

On SappyDayz his creation is limitless, from donkeys having sex to aliens playing miniature golf, no onw really knows what to expect next. “In the beginning, I was very calculated in how I wrote jokes.  I would write down ideas, things I thought were funny. Over time I found that the best way for me to create a cartoon was to be completely open to inspiration whenever it comes. I have no boss, no censors, no sponsors to report to.  I can create whatever makes me chuckle.  Whatever entertains the artist child inside of me,” added Sappy Sap for Earthwonders.

For people who like to joke around, dark humor, SappyDayz is definitely the page to check out. But of course, all people don’t think so. There are some people out there that take it personally and get offended or think it’s no funny. The artist also said he gets emails from people saying his cartoons hurt their feelings, or that he should quit, and a lot of other examples. But the artist shares his belief on this: When I see a truly bad cartoon-like the artist has no sense of joke writing and is recycling old street jokes I don’t have any emotional reaction to that–good or bad.  If you’re getting a reaction at all it means you’re hitting SOMETHING.”

“As I write this, some troll on Reddit has just commented that people shouldn’t go to my website because none of the cartoons are any good.  Imagine the person who does this…they clicked on my website and then felt the need to “warn” people not to check it out. Clearly, this is jealousy.  I’m doing something I enjoy.  The cartoons are free.  What are you warning people about exactly?”

Therefore, the comedian has advice for all the creators out there that are getting the same feedback which is very smart and meaningful. ” When you’re getting strong reactions it means you’re on the right path. Don’t be swayed by the trolls, because that’s mostly what you’ll encounter online. If you were really bad they would just pass you by like the guy playing guitar outside of Walmart. You don’t feel the need to boo him, but you also don’t really want to hear his next song. ”

5 Heart-Touching New Comics By This Artist That Might Make You Want To Shed A Tear

Art is a representation of oneself. It is an expression. One can write out his sentiments in an artistically-constructed poem. Another one can express himself by painting how he feels. On the other hand, one can draw how he perceives the world. Thus, art is beautiful and is open to many interpretations.

For today, we’ll be having some comic strips by the Thai artist Tum Natakorn Ulit. His work, blended with real-life experiences, radiates melancholy, bitterness, and sadness to its readers. But in the end, his thought-provoking wordless comics would leave the reader out of words. You can read 5 of his comics below.
