20 Silly Comics About Life’s Absurd Situations By Warheads

Perhaps the best kind of humor is the one you can relate to. Other than it’s soothing to know that someone is going through exactly the same thing as you do, it’s fun to see it all happen from a side point of view. Those silly and absurd situations that occur daily in life are perhaps what inspired the Warheads Comics.

The Warheads Comics are about the adventures of the two fictional characters, Jim and Brian. Jim and Brian embody different qualities and have noticeably different perspectives in various situations. Therefore, readers might pick which character they relate to the most. Perhaps they side more with Jim in some cases, while they react more like Brian in other instances.

Take a look at some of the most entertaining panels from the Warheads comics strip! Which character is more like you? Jim or Brian?

The author, or the ‘Creator’ as the characters name them in the comics, makes both ‘standalone’ and storyline-based comics. A Creator is a metaphor for the artist who “created” the characters in the comics.

Jim and Brian are very different. Starting from the most obvious – their visualization. Jim is visually less interesting than other characters, as he lacks exceptional features. Yet, he has a pretty sharp tongue. He’s often snappy, cynical, and annoyed with the Creator.

Brian is more chill and portrayed as an overall nice guy. Yet, he attracts bad luck as nothing ever seems to go right for him. What makes Jim relatable to perhaps more people is that he doesn’t appear as the hero of the comics, although he actually is.

Artist Draws Comics About Being A Strong Independent Woman And Modern Life (20 Pics)

Striving for a better life or even better looks is always welcome and encouraged. However, not at the price of one’s wellbeing. Society puts high pressure on people to meet expectations that are neither real nor actually desired. Moreover, the stress of fitting into a “one size fits all” mold robs one’s joy in life because there’s no person just like you, and that’s your greatest weapon.

This is precisely what illustrator Lainey Molnar tries to convey in her artwork. Lainey is on a mission of “bettering the world for women.” The artist creates true-to-life and very aesthetically pleasing illustrations of what it means to be a woman in today’s society. In the comics, she explores the subjects of femininity, societal pressures, double standards, and various other issues that modern women face each day. Take a look at the beautiful illustrations Lainey has created. What’s your opinion? What are some of the stereotypes you believe women and men face today?
