20 Colorful Balloon Crafting That Look Like Their Real Life Counterparts

Japanese artsist Masayoshi Matsumoto has turned his love for animals into works of art. Using multi-colored balloons, he intricately weaves them together to produce true-to-life creations of Earth’s creatures. Each animal or insect is made entirely from blown balloons, right down to their beady eyes and tiny toenails. Here is a selection of some of his most impressive works, including his favorite: the iguana.

“I started working with this art form seven years ago, I was really inspired by wildlife pictures and wanted to see if I could create realistic animals of my own,” Matsumoto told Metro. His cool artworks take the self-taught artist a minimum of two hours to complete, and more complex projects last up to six.

All of his work becomes even more stunning when you realize that Matsumoto doesn’t use markers, stickers, or any other supplementary material only colorful balloons. His multi-colored cool animal kingdom is a truly unique art.
