25 Unlucky People Share Their Unfortunes on the Internet

Sometimes no matter how hard we try, luck just doesn’t seem to be in our side. At some point in our lives, we’re just a bunch of unlucky people. If you belong in this group, no worries – you are not alone. There’s an endless archive in r/FacePalm subreddit, where people shared their unfortunate, embarrassing and pitiful moments.

We often tend to divide people as lucky or unlucky, but according to Neil Farber, a certified life coach and hypnotherapist, the so-called “lucky” people differ from the unlucky ones not because we were born different, but because we put different amounts of work into what we are trying to achieve.

The lucky ones are proactive, they make their future. They catch opportunities that risen in front of them and above all are flexible to the dynamics of life, they go with the flow.

But still if you think your tiny invisible angles that are supposed to sit in your shoulders have flee and you’re feeling unlucky check out these images below and you’ll probably feel better about whatever you’re going through.

Times Historians Had No Idea What Something Was And Women Stepped In And Told Them

In class, I learned that when I don’t understand something, someone else probably does. It’s more useful to learn someone’s perspective in a field than to force your perspective and fail miserably.

That’s the moral lesson to be learned in this viral Twitter thread by Gennifer Hutchison. For her, there are things that male historians and anthropologists get wrong because they usually don’t involve women’s perspectives in their research.

Writer Gennifer Hutchinson pointed out online that male scientists struggle to figure something out because they restrict women’s access to their fields
