27 ‘Absolute Unit’ Examples That Show How Huge Things Can Grow

If you have heard of the expression “absolute unit” before, then you know what we’re going to be talking about in this article, if not, let us show you what that means. “Absolute unit” refers to a human or animal with exceptional body mass, size, and/or corpulence. We are aware of the aware size a person or animal can grow, but yet there are some beings put there that truly amaze us with their ability to grow.

This expression however started all as a meme that was shared from a Twitter user:


Since then, this expression has been used to compare to same things with a huge contrast in size. Now there’s  a whole subreddit r/AbsoluteUnits where people share the absolute unit they’ve encountered in their lives.
