Animal rescue centers and shelters are in need of help during this pandemic time. They keep rescuing in animals, especially since many people abandon their pets in times of crisis, but they had to cancel adoption events because of social distancing regulations, volunteers cannot come in as usual.
So they’ve been urging people to consider fostering or adopting. The star of Queer Eye, Antoni Porowski fostered a dog, and also Miley Cyrus and boyfriend Cody Simpson adopted a puppy during this time as well.
The 18-year-old award-winning singer Billie Eilish often speaks up for important causes. She’s a vegan because she loves animals, she partnered with Greenpeace and fellow vegan Woody Harrelson for a PSA about climate change and even worked to have an eco-friendly tour. She decided to spend quarantine with two foster pups from Angel City Pit Bulls.
Her fans already know how much she loves animals, her social media is filled with her cuddling dogs both backstage before her shows, and at shelters. Billie in one of her Instagram story encouraged her fans to do the same if they feel bored and have nothing to do during this quarantine.
Last week, she “failed” at fostering and is now adopting one of the puppies, the grey pitbull stole her heart. She shared snaps of him and everyone can agree that the unnamed pup is too cute to handle. The other puppy got adopted, too. Billie also has a mixed-breed dog named Pepper, and a cat named Misha.
