Mom Posts A Hilarious Selfie Next To Her Masterpiece Portrait Drawn By Her Daughter

Shout out to all the moms out there, because they put up with all kinds of nonsense their child come up with. Screaming and crying in the middle of the mall, making moms look like wildlings dragging their child across the mall because they won’t give up on a toy that’s way too expensive. Endless whims, cries, screams, expensive gifts on their children’s Christmas wishlist, crazy fashion choices, hairstyles, etc., moms put up with all of it with the brightest smiles on their faces (okay, that’s an exaggeration) just because that’s what you do when you’re a mom.

But besides all these struggles moms face from their child, they also get great happiness from each and every little achievement of their kid, be it as small as a complete abstract portrait of yours that they draw or did best in their mathematic class.

This mom on Reddit shared a proud moment of hers, posing next to the portrait her daughter draw, and the best thing about this is that she adjusted to her daughter’s drawing. A funny mom like her will make a child even more creative, in my personal note here!

Reddit user ‘10fletcher‘ shared a photo of herself with an old watercolor painting her daughter Mia made as a kid saying, “My kid did this portrait of me over 10 years ago. I still look the same, IMO”

Mia, her daughter, drew a real masterpiece when she was a kid, emphasizing all the best features of her mom, such as undereye bags, dramatic black lashes, funny-looking eyebrows, and three lines of teeth. While she made sure to replicate the look as closely as possible, going extra with the red lip and drawing singular eyelashes on her lids, we’re really missing the third line of teeth here! The proud mom joked that while she didn’t really change much since her daughter drew that portrait 10 years ago, she does “have one less eyelash now.” Her daughter was really amused when she found out about her mom’s post. “[There was] the usual eye roll at first, but she did get a good laugh and took a screenshot of Reddit to share with her friends. They all pretty much expect this sort of nonsense from me,” she said.

Photographer “Time Travels” by Photoshopping Herself into Old Celebrity Photos

Have you ever imagined if you could go back in time and take a picture with famous people? If yes, you will probably enjoy a similar series in 2013, called “Time Travel” created by an artist, Flora. She is a young fine art photographer from Hungary. She uses exquisite photo manipulation in order to create surreal images that are thematically focused on identity, relationships, and dreams. However, today we will mainly focus on how she discovers the possibilities of the well known “selfie” phenomenon with famous people. Let’s admit that it would be pretty difficult to explain the concept of a selfie to a person from the 20th century. But this fact makes these series even more interesting!

“After the first official picture of a black hole was released last week, I decided to look into the Theory of relativity and I’ve been wondering how cool it was, if I could travel faster than the speed of light, ergo I could travel back in time. While I’ve been making a “selfie” with Albert Einstein (photoshopping myself into a picture of him) I decided to celebrate this amazing discovery with a series of pictures, where I travel back in time. ” writes Flora in her website.
