These 30 Animals Love To Snuggle Themselves Up Around Warm Objects

Animals are creatures that bring to people so much happiness every single day solely with their presence. They make humans more compassionate, positive, and happier. They also help in allowing people to be more loving because of their love for humans. And in cases like these, their love for warm objects.

There is nothing animals love more than warmth. Sometimes that means accepting a loving embrace from a human. Other times it involves basking in the warm summer sun. At least, those are the typical situations.

However, these pets and wildlife are far from typical. They discovered warmth in the most unexpected of places. For example, the kitten that discovered the best place to sleep was on top of an Apple MacBook charger. It’s both cute and hilarious.

We can’t deny the overwhelming joy that cute animals bring, which is why we rounded up some of the most adorable images of them snuggling up around something warm, which in turn, will most likely warm your heart as well. From kittens and pups to newborn lambs and piglets, these baby pets or farm animals will make your heart melt like nothing else.

Cats have built-in fur coats. They can’t possibly get that cold, can they? It may not be that they’re actually cold, per se. According to Mother Nature Networkcats crave warmth because they’re descended from desert animals. Because of that, cats are hardwired to thrive when they’re toasty. So, despite the fur coats, cats like warm things because they like being much warmer than we like for ourselves.

Cats’ fur is insulating and helps them to regulate their body temperatures, but given cats’ proclivities for finding and cuddling up to heat sources, their fur can become a problem. The insulation also keeps them from noticing that they’re getting too warm until it’s dangerous.

This is especially a problem with radiators and other, similar heat sources, like heated foot rests and heating pads. These things can burn your cat, because she’ll lie on it for too long without noticing the heat the way you and I would.

Cats can also create havoc by pulling curtains or towels down over radiators, and other mischief like that. Even though cats like warm things and it can be cute, this is something to be aware of. One solution is a heated pet bed.

Another solution is to put their favorite pillow, bed, or blanket near their heat source, but not directly on it, so they’re more likely to lie down at a safe distance from it. The fact that cats like warm things doesn’t have to be dangerous for them, or for you. It doesn’t even have to be inconvenient, and you can give them the warmth they desire.

Animals being around heat is nothing that should not be encouraged. Being in the sun and in areas that make them feel comfortable and safe is important. If your animal tends to love bathing in the sun or being in warm areas, that is perfectly fine and should be encouraged. It may be wise to even help them feel at home when they are bathing in the heat.

Adding a bed or a pillow outside or in a warm area can help them know that it is okay to enjoy bathing. Yet, it is suggested to make sure your animal does not overdo it with the heat. They do already have a full coat and are wired to keep their paws and bodies warm.

One of the reasons that people love heat is because of the feeling it provides. Usually, heat comes from the sun, and that feeling that we love, is Vitamin D soaking into our system. Dogs, just as humans, need Vitamin D. Vitamin D acts as a pro – hormone for dogs, which means that it more than likely replicates that of a hormone than a vitamin in dogs.

Dogs do need Vitamin D as a vitamin as well, so they may absorb calcium, but the importance of it playing the role of a hormone helps them with producing more Vitamin D in their system. The sun is the easiest and most efficient way for dogs, or anyone for that matter, to get Vitamin D in their body. It helps them with muscle and nerve control, and bone formation. The sun may seep past their fur and affect their skin, as it should, due to the oils in their skin. Yet, it is wise to watch over your animal so they do not get burned by the sun or get cancer.

Beyond the desire animals have for heat, there are other reasons that they tend to desire to be in a warm area. When dogs are warm, they tend to feel safer. When they are at home and alone, they usually are in a crate, at least as a puppy. Being in an enclosed space makes them feel warm, so warmth will help them feel like they are safe again. Dogs are meant to be in warmth.

They have been wired to be able to keep their paws warm, as well as the rest of their body with how they sleep, and how they act. It is normal for dogs to love being around heat because it is apart of their nature, just as humans should not want to drop their body temperature. Heat can help with regulation in an animal’s body, so they feel comfortable and normal.

Photographer “Time Travels” by Photoshopping Herself into Old Celebrity Photos

Have you ever imagined if you could go back in time and take a picture with famous people? If yes, you will probably enjoy a similar series in 2013, called “Time Travel” created by an artist, Flora. She is a young fine art photographer from Hungary. She uses exquisite photo manipulation in order to create surreal images that are thematically focused on identity, relationships, and dreams. However, today we will mainly focus on how she discovers the possibilities of the well known “selfie” phenomenon with famous people. Let’s admit that it would be pretty difficult to explain the concept of a selfie to a person from the 20th century. But this fact makes these series even more interesting!

“After the first official picture of a black hole was released last week, I decided to look into the Theory of relativity and I’ve been wondering how cool it was, if I could travel faster than the speed of light, ergo I could travel back in time. While I’ve been making a “selfie” with Albert Einstein (photoshopping myself into a picture of him) I decided to celebrate this amazing discovery with a series of pictures, where I travel back in time. ” writes Flora in her website.

Check out the gallery below. Also, tell us in the comment section below; If you could go back in time who would you like to take a selfie with?
