Family Drama Ensued As This 16 Y.O. Refused To Move Out From Her Room To Accommodate Her Stepsister

At home, everyone has their own “territory” in which they reside. These territories may come in different shapes and sizes. Maybe in your house, you have your own room. For those who did not have the luxury to have their own room, maybe your space is defined by which portion of the bed you occupy. Whatever your space may look like, everyone has to respect that space, and you have to respect others’ spaces as well.

However, that’s not what our OP experienced in our story for today. In her post in Reddit’s Am I The A-Hole community, she retold the story wherein she was forced by her stepmom to give up her room because her daughter liked it. The irony was that there were still available rooms in the house, and that the teenage daughter was pulling a Karen. OP did not give in and was called rude. Now she asks the Internet if she should have just given her room up.
