The five-star hotel is carved into the hill which was home to an olive orchard. Except the fact that blends with nature perfectly, this place offers magnificent views as well.
Nikola Bašić is the architect behind this building. His known in Croatia for his wonderful creations, and now there’s a new one on the list. One thing that pops out when you look at this building are the irregular walls. They follow the contour of the hill and are made up of local stones assembled with traditional building techniques.
The walls are closed by glass partitions which allow the guest to enjoy the beautiful views this site provides. Outside of the hotel lay lands of greenery filled with olive trees, some of which are around 5 centuries old. In fact, these olive trees have played a huge role on the concept of this hotel. There’s where the name Nai 3.3 comes from as well. Nai 3.3 is the award-winning oil, and its producers commissioned the luxury hotel and oversaw its construction.
In this hotel, all villas differ a little bit in style. Outside of your room, you can also harvest olives and watch the processing in an on-site oil mill. Plus, you can taste the products in the hotel restaurant, 3.3, and the bar, Grotta 11 000.
