Man Ends Up Buying an Island and Living in It After Parents Give Him 60 Days to Move Out From Their Home

Let’s say you have 60 days to move from your parents home and you have nowhere to go. Getting a new place can be quite a responsibility and challenge, but not if you are Tim Davidson. This guy made the best choice one can ever make. Instead of purchasing a normal home, he got a mobile home around $70k, but that’s not all of it. He also ended up buying a whole island in Florida for $200k, where he has lived ever since.

This man is really living the life. Being a fan of minimalism, Tim wanted to adjust to that lifestyle. He didn’t need big houses with unused spaces, the Tiffany mobile home was just the right fit for him. The mobile home is furnished with every possible item you need for a good living. There’s a sofa, cabinets, a bed, folding tables, even a tub.

Tim found the Island for sale on Zillow, and met with the owner to negotiate the price. After buying the island, with the city’s permission he built a tiny octagon house. The house was made by Deltec Homes and its distinctive shape help it withstand strong winds and even hurricanes. You can even rent the home on Airbnb!

This Facebook Group Is Dedicated To Shaming Bad Architecture, And Here’s 20 Pics That Got Roasted

Sometimes, in architecture, designs can go out of the ordinary. For example, we have a rather dangerous architecture that is as dangerous as it looks, if not more. On a positive note, we also have a somewhat friendly architecture that is not only useful for the user but also cares for their welfare as well.

And today, we’ll be having some funny designs. These structures aren’t dangerous and still serve their purpose, but how they’re constructed can be hilarious. Today, we’ll head over to the Facebook group That’s It, I’m Architecture Shaming – Burn It to the Ground Edition, the gathering place for people who love to poke fun at funny designs. Below, we compiled the 20 funniest structures ever presented in the group!
