An embroidery map has gone viral on the internet showing the embroidery techniques of Pakistani and India regions. The underlying message of the map was to show how diverse elements come together to make beautiful things. The map was produced by Generation, a Pakistani fashion company.
Generations may have been inspired by Craftsvilla, India’s largest online ethnic store, which put out their “fabric tour of India” several months ago. Using a similar concept, the map explores different hand-woven textiles by the Indian state
