Travel the World in This Fabulous Floating Party Pod

If you’re looking for a luxurious getaway, look no further! Earthwonders will show you an eco-friendly floating pod that can sail around the world, named Anthénea. It is a luxury, floating hotel suite and a water-based mobile home. It’s designed by architect Jean-Michel Ducancelle, whose inspiration came from James Bond’s floating pod in the film “The Spy Who Loved Me“. The floating wonder runs on solar power and is 100% eco-friendly. More specifically, it releases clean water back into the ocean using black and gray water stations. Also, it is equipped with sand screw anchoring to avoid any harm to the underwater ecosystem and environment.

Above all, the vessel offers 360-views of the ocean. To illustrate, the bedroom includes an extra-large round bed with an overflow round bathtub that can be filled with sea or freshwater. There’s also a small living area with kitchen necessities and fiberglass windows that allow you to see into the ocean. Besides this, on top, the pod has an open, outdoor seating area that accommodates up to 12 people.

Anthénea can sail across waters and can be used by travelers to get to one destination from another. It is currently stationed at the Pink Granite Coast in Brittany, France, and can also be rented for a few nights. Thus, interested folks can buy one to live in along with customizations.

Well, offbeat travel cannot get any better than this, so scroll down to see the images below. Enjoy!
