Reservations are a thing for a reason, and that reason is to claim something in advance. And if an object has been claimed, it can’t be claimed by someone else anymore. If someone claims a claimed object, then that defeats the action of claiming and defeats the purpose of reservation itself.
And that’s the thing this mother of two didn’t seem to understand. In her story in Reddit’s Am I The A-Hole community, she said that she wasn’t unable to reserve a seat, so she took a random seat instead. When the owner of that random reserved seat came, she did not budge. This caused the owner to make a scene on the train and be forced to get off at the next station. Follow her full story below to decide for yourself!
