People Are Sharing Images of the Downsides of Modern Urban Development, and Here Are 25 That Portray the Ugly Truth

We all see the rapid change the urbanization is going through. The cities have changed their surface completely compared to two decades before or more. With the increase of the population, the demand for more dwellings increased as well. However, this hasn’t contributed for the best to the environment.

The places we live today have turned into a hideous hell, but probably we aren’t able to notice this change since we’re living it. However, there’s a whole subreddit that invites people to explore the darker side of urban development.  r/UrbanHell shares images of all the hideous places human beings built or inhabit.

Scroll down below to see the list of images we compiled, and let us know in the comments what you think of them.

On a positive note, we also have a somewhat friendly architecture that is not only useful for the user but also cares for their welfare as well.

And today, we’ll be having some funny designs. These structures aren’t dangerous and still serve their purpose, but how they’re constructed can be hilarious. Today, we’ll head over to the Facebook group That’s It, I’m Architecture Shaming – Burn It to the Ground Edition, the gathering place for people who love to poke fun at funny designs.
