Artist Gives Disney Princesses a Modern Glow Up and Her Work Goes Viral

Many artists so far have used their artistry to express their love for the Disney world by reimagining them in all kinds of environments, dresses and situations. Yudelmis “Yudie” San Emeterio is another artist who joined this trend by presenting the Disney princesses in a modern spotlight.

The 29-year-old artist got a lot of attention when she started sharing her makeover videos on her TikTok. The artist’s goal is to keep the changes in the transformation as close as possible to the style and texture of the original art.

Yudie grew up watching Disney movies, and even today doesn’t miss a new release. She usually starts by thinking of the character to transform, then googles a lot about the latest trends to make it as coherent as possible. Disney edits are not something new, there are a lot of fan edits out there. However, doing a transformation like that is not something easy. No matter how many ideas you have, you still need to keep the original texture.

Out of all the female leads in Disney, I resonate with Jane the most. I’m still waiting for my Tarzan, though 😂 ##disneyprincess ##gloupdisney ##jane

7. Rapunzel

The trickiness with 3D edits is that they’re a bit more involved, but Rapunzel is worth it ❤️ ##rapunzel ##disneyprincess ##gloupdisney
