One might think that being a photographer is an easy job. Press the button, and voila, done! Well, it’s not. Have you ever heard of shutter speed? Aperture? DOF? ISO? No? I reckoned so. Not a single professional or skilled photographer shoots on auto mode, and the words above are their bible. Also, it’s not just about a good camera, high picture quality, and whitened teeth. It takes experience to catch all the ‘right’ and perfect moments.
So if you have some dollars to spare, don’t go for the cheapest option available. I’m not saying you are guaranteed gorgeous pictures if you get a photographer that charges $200 per hour. But I’m also not saying that a $20 per hour photographer will do a terrible job. Please research, read the reviews and ask to see their works so you don’t get a pig in the poke.
However, some wedding celebrations may not be saved even by the best photographer in the world. This Reddit group, wittily called ‘Trashy,’ shares ‘all things trashy’: “trashy stories, trashy glamour, all things fake, plastic, and downright trashy, low-class, no-class, white trash, bimbos, and damn proud.” As you might have guessed, we are talking about weddings today. So prepare for some tasteless wedding photos, not because the photographer was terrible at his job, but because.. ph man, I can’t even find the right words to explain why. These are just bad.
