Getting a tattoo can be quite a nerve-wracking experience because you only get one shot. Once the needle penetrates your skin, there’s no way back. Getting tatted usually involves some beforehand planning – picking the artist, style, design, placing, etc. I can’t get my head around how people do walk-ins. You are some brave folks!
A lot of the experience also depends on the tattoo artist. Besides being professional, it’s essential to make the client feel comfortable. Remember that they trust you with something that will stay permanently on their skin. If the client doesn’t feel comfortable, don’t get too surprised that they walk out of their appointment mid-session. That is precisely what Dalina, who goes by senoracabrona on TikTok, did.
Dalina posted a TikTok retelling of one of perhaps her worst experiences at a tattoo parlor. The tattoo artist she had previously met at the gym commented on her body, making the young woman very uncomfortable. She walked out mid-session with just an outline of the tattoo. Dalina turned to her followers to question if she was being too dramatic (absolutely not, Dalina!). Scroll below to see the entire story and what the people of TikTok had to say.
