Various artists have found interactive ways how to include animals in their project in order to raise awareness over something, or just to depict them as beautiful beings that they are. One of these artists is Flora Borsi. Flora has started a project called Animeyed, where she features animals which she shares one of her eyes with. Flora focuses on the make up and costume to match the animal, which ranges from tiny beetles to rabbits.
Except the make up and special clothing, Borsi finishes her masterpieces with a touch up of photoshop and digital retouching for more dramatic effect, and blend with animals in the scale that she does. Seeing how successful the first project turned out to be, Flora has continued working on Animeyed II. The whole concept of her work is to symbolize the resemblance of animals to humans, bringing attention to the beauty of the animal world, to show the uniqueness of each feature of each species.
