Interesting to know that most of the cats are not very keen to travel. They usually like the safety and coziness of their home. Specifically, when embarking on a new journey with a cat one have to pay a lot of attention, because they can be very sensitive to driving. But not this cat! Yes, the one you see below is a fierce cat who is always on board for another adventure with its owner. This beautiful lady cat is not afraid of anything and it shows.
The owner Rémy Vicarini took home Cathode from the shelter six years ago. However, they have been traveling around together ever since. Furthermore, Remy rescued Cathode when he was only 6 months, while he was in studies. Since he always wanted a feline friend to share his life with. And now that he found her, they go on all kinds of adventures with each other, from biking to mountain climbing, to skydiving. Crazy huh?! Where can we find such a cat, please? Well, I guess these unique cats are rare!
But surely you can find one at a cat’s shelter, you save a cat and gain a friend at the same time. Just like Remy did! Rémy when talking about Cathode’s character and personality he says that “Cathode is very endearing, obedient and gluey. She is very curious and at the same time, a little fearful” Remy adds that this is the key that makes it possible for him to take her. “In the beginning, I only had one apartment life to offer her, so I wanted to let her discover the outdoors in complete safety.”

He makes sure she is safe and sound all the time. Additionally, Remy whenever wants to do something he tries it first by himself. And always makes sure to check the terrain before they proceed together. “Cathode is always attached with a leash so that she keeps a safe distance in the basket and does not go too far. On a motorbike, she has a helmet that helps stop the wind in her eyes,”
People were also wondering how a cat can stay on a motorcycle like that. So Remy explained that she was already used to the bike because the first night of her adoption they went home by bicycling and she quite enjoyed it.
Now that they have been together for quite some time Remy says that “She makes me feel good, she makes me feel like a good person, and I know that I can count on her, she will never give up on me.”
