24 Comics About the Cleaning And Chores to Help Men Understand How to Share the Burden of Their Partners

We all know that the role of women and men in society is not equal, and probably will never be. Although men have higher positions in society, higher salaries, women still have more responsibilities to get there. However, every day and more we see women succeeding and competing at the same level as men. Yet, there’s a part where men don’t even bother to compete with women. We are talking about the chores around the house.

Women can be working in the same office as men are, but their shift doesn’t end as a man does. When they go back home, they don’t have the time to rest and have the dinner already set on the table. They have to be moms and wives and manage to get everything done properly.

Men, on the other hand, don’t really get the expectations that their women have for them. Robert the Otter is a comic artist who illustrates that exact fact. After a conversation he had with his wife about cleaning around the house, he understood the expectation his wife had from him.

Men don’t really understand the mental burden that women have on a daily basis, therefore they don’t know they should do more as well. Robert found that out only after having this conversation with his wife. As a result, he started making these comics, hoping that he would help males understand and consider the pressure their partners might be facing. Sharing the burden makes the relationship stronger, and Robert’s comics have helped a lot of people understand this fact.
