We often see dogs wandering around the city sometimes alone other times with their fellow friends. But there are also times when a stray dog can befriend you out of nowhere. They can impliedly sense and are aware when they like a human. However, today he has a sweet story to tell. It’s about a dog and a human and how they found each other on a lovely day hiking in the mountains. And it might just be a story better than “Twighlight”.
Nikki Delventhal and her dog Camper met while Nikki was hiking in Albuquerque, back in September 2020. While diving into the remote area she noticed that a dog was chasing her car. Out of empathy for the lost dog, she couldn’t leave the cute puppy where cars and people rarely pass by. So got out of the car, and the dog exited jumped in Nikki’s lap. All happy and bonding like they knew each other for the longest time already.

At first, Nikki wasn’t sure if Camper was following her but after 4 miles she was convinced that Camper wasn’t going anywhere. So she took Camper to the nearest shelter and left the dog there. However, after the days passed by she couldn’t get Camper out of her mind, so she went back and claimed him.
The dog was so excited to see her again as she approached him. Wiggling his tail from the excessive happiness. Right then she truly knew she made the right decision.

She always wanted to adopt a dog, and finding Camper seemed like the right moment to do so! Now they are with each other non-stop as Nikki is a Youtuber also, so they go on different adventures together. And all of their crazy adventurous moments you can find on Nikki’s Youtube channel. Since then they are inseparable living life to the fullest.
