‘Chronically Late’ Woman Needs To Attend An Important Seminar, Her Friend Who Agreed To Be Her Ride Leaves When She’s Late

Schedules should be respected. You and another person agreed to book each other’s time, so showing up around the same time is the right thing to do. It’s a matter of respecting the person for taking the time to tend to you. Showing up late once or maybe twice can be fine, but showing up late that it looks like it’s your habit now is never a good thing.

That’s the takeaway for today’s story. In his post, OP said that he had a problem with his friend’s chronic lateness and that he decided to offer her a ride one day. He gave the condition that the friend should be ready to hop in on or before the decided time, or else he’d drive off. OP waited on the scene on the call time but then left when his friend did not show up. Twenty minutes later, his friend called him and cursed him for making her miss an important event.

We have also known this guy who wasn’t let go even after his work hours.

Today, we’ll end these kinds of stories on a positive note. In a TikTok video by Alec (@handle), he retold his story where he observed his boss leaving at 5 pm on the dot. He then discovered him doing some work in his car. When he asked him why he did his matters in the car and not in his office, the boss responded that he wanted his employees to appreciate their work schedules by making them comfortable at leaving at 5 pm as well.
