Married life constitutes both parties helping each other to fulfill their needs, attain their wants, and support their growth. A healthy relationship, even, constitutes fair trades of giving and taking. If one person felt like they were contributing much while the other did not, it may result in them withdrawing.
That’s what happened to an anonymous Redditor three years ago. In his post, he said that he would treat his wife on some trips overseas, make her dinner every time, and simply pamper her. However, his wife did not seem to cooperate when it comes to his needs, so he threatened to have his needs satisfied by another party instead. The OP kind of regretted saying that and asked if it was wrong for him to state that.
