“My Friend Told Me That The Day Is Not About Me”: Woman Refuses To Be A Bridesmaid Because Of The Unflattering Dress She’d Have To Wear

Before a wedding, everyone’s attire must be planned out. They should be presentable and in line with the person’s role in the wedding. For example, the wedding officiator should not dress like the food servers, or the mother-in-law should not look like the bride. But regardless, everyone should be happy with their attire as well.

However, the Redditor who goes by the username PhysicsVast9133 was not. In her post in Am I The A-Hole subreddit, she retold the story of how she felt uncomfortable with her dress because it was too tight for her body size. She suggested a somewhat-similar, but comfortable, outfit but was denied. Now, she is getting blamed for “ruining” the wedding ceremony. She now asks the opinion of Internet strangers if it was really her fault.
